We were also happy to revisit two of our favorite Flushing restaurants, which are very nearby: The Coop for Korean fried chicken, and Asian Jewels for fabulous dim sum. We appreciated the bottled water plus three packs of coffee for the in-room coffee maker. Our clean room, 1012, was as quiet and comfortable as ever, no complaints: good beds, nice white linens and fluffy towels, good water pressure, quiet A/C, etc. Sadly, the grand Chinese antiques and fancy restaurant from previous years are gone, but the new lobby is a pleasing place to hang out, with an especially nice bar where we had a great conversation with Adrian. The lobby renovations are mostly done, so it was a relief to enter through the main entrance on 39th Ave again (though the revolving door is a bit confusing it's supposed to be automatic but if you press the exterior button it stops moving). We were pleased to return to this hotel again (our third stay) for one night, in order to see Dead & Co at Citi Field.
